Self-Serve Option

Close your account quickly and easily through our self-service feature:

  1. Log in to your MoneySuperMarket account.

  2. Open the Messenger located at the bottom-right of your screen, and start a new conversation with Fin, or AI Assistant.

  3. Send a message saying that you'd like to close your account.

  4. You'll be presented with two choices: Close my account or Request 'Right to be Forgotten'.

  5. Choose Close my account to initiate the immediate closure of your account.

The above process is the quickest way to close your MoneySuperMarket account.

Need a more comprehensive deletion?

Follow the same steps above, but choose Request 'Right to be Forgotten'.

Once we've verified your identity, we'll begin processing your request to delete your data.

Right to erasure (aka Right to be Forgotten) may take a few business days, but we'll always respond within a calendar month in line with data protection legislation.

  1. Reach out to us: Contact our customer support team through the messenger or via email.

  2. Provide your details: Let us know that you wish to delete your account and provide your account information, such as the email address associated with it.

Important information

While we'd be happy to delete everything, we're obligated to retain certain information due to our responsibilities to the Financial Conduct Authority and other legal requirements. Rest assured, we'll only keep the minimum amount of information necessary to fulfill these obligations.

We understand your decision to close your account, and we aim to make the process as smooth as possible. Just keep in mind that we need to retain some information for legal and regulatory purposes.
