Who can open an account?
You can apply for up to 2 of your businesses.
Eligibility
You can apply if you're:
A sole trader of the director of a limited company
18 or over
A UK resident
Limited company accounts
If you want to open an account for a limited company, your business must:
Be active on Companies House
Be limited by shares
Have no more than two directors
Have all Persons of Significant Control living in the UK
Have all shares held by individuals, not by another company.

How do I open an account?
It's quick to get started; just download the dedicated MoneySuperMarket Business Banking app.
To open an account, you'll need to have your ID to hand, and we'll ask you to provide a quick photo of yourself to verify your ID. You will also need to answer a few quick questions about you and your business.
Make sure your details - like your name, address and ID information - are correct. We may contact you if we need more information, either in the app or by email.

How much does it cost?
Banking, accounting and tax is covered with one simple monthly subscription, that grows only when your business grows. There are three tiers of subscription fees:

Total monthly deposits: £750 - £7,500
£20 per month
Total monthly deposits: £7,500+

The first three account transfers or direct debits each month are free
Account transfers in/out: 27p
Direct debits out: 27p
Foreign Transaction Fees: 3% applied to clear transaction
ATM withdrawals: £1 per withdrawal

Is MoneySuperMarket Business Banking compatible with Making Tax Digital?
Yes. The MoneySuperMarket Business Banking app works with Making Tax Digital rules.
What is Making Tax Digital?
Making Tax Digital is an HMRC programme that requires businesses to keep digital records and submit tax information online. It's designed to make tax admin easier and more accurate.
How we help
With our app, you can file VAT returns directly to HMRC using transaction data from your MoneySuperMarket Business Banking app account. The app also keeps track of everything, calculates how much VAT you owe, and will let you know when a deadline is approaching.
