Who can open an account?
To open an Investments by MoneySuperMarket account, you'll need to:
Be aged 18 or over
Have a MoneySuperMarket account
Download and use the MoneySuperMarket app - make sure it's the latest version
Live in the UK
Have your National Insurance number, ID and be ready to take a quick photo to verify your identity
This service is currently only available to UK nationals. We’ll be expanding to UK residents of other nationalities soon.
Unfortunately we don't support applications from US nationals.
How do I start investing?
You can start investing in three simple steps:
Get started: Download our app and sign in to your MoneySuperMarket account.
Open your account: Tap 'Save & Invest' to begin. Select 'Investments' and then choose between a stocks and shares ISA or a general investment account - we'll explain the difference. Tell us a few details and we'll set everything up for you.
Start investing: Choose your investments and add as little as £1 to get going. You can build up over time, and our simple guides will help you learn as you go.

Seccl is the technology company that we have partnered with to power our investment platform.
They're also our 'custodian' – meaning they safeguard your cash and assets on our behalf. You'll make payments to them and not MoneySuperMarket directly.
