How do I withdraw my savings?

Step 1: Log in Open your MoneySuperMarket app and log in.

Step 2: Go to your accounts Tap “Save”, and go to “My Accounts”

If you’re withdrawing from your Holding account:

  1. Find your available cash balance

  2. Tap “Withdraw”

  3. Enter the amount and confirm by tapping “Withdraw”

If you’re withdrawing from an easy access or notice account:

  1. Choose the account you want

  2. Tap “Manage account”, then “Withdraw”

  3. Pick where the money should go:

    • Your nominated bank account

    • Your Holding account

  4. Enter the amount and confirm by tapping “Withdraw”

Notice accounts: If it’s a notice account, your notice period will start. When the notice period ends, your money will be sent either to your nominated bank account or to your Savings by MoneySuperMarket Holding account – based on the option you selected when you chose to withdraw.

Fixed term accounts:

If it’s in a fixed term account, it’ll only be available when the term ends – unless there’s been a bereavement or serious financial difficulty.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Money withdrawn from your Holding account will usually arrive in your nominated bank account within 2 hours, but it can take a few days depending on your bank.

If you withdraw from a savings account on a weekend or bank holiday, the money should reach your Holding account on the next working day.

If your money is in a notice account, you’ll need to serve the required notice period before you can withdraw.

If it’s in a fixed term account, it’ll only be available when the term ends.

What is a nominated bank account?

The nominated bank account is your personal bank account linked to your Savings by MoneySuperMarket account. Any money you deposit or withdraw will need to use your linked bank account.

How can I check and change my nominated bank account?

You can check and change your nominated bank account linked to your Savings by MoneySuperMarket account at any time. Just follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your MoneySuperMarket app and head to “Save”

  2. Tap on “More” and select “Your details”

  3. Find “Your nominated account details” and select “Edit”

  4. Update your sort code and account number

  5. Submit the new details

For security, withdrawals will be paused while the change is verified.

Your request will be reviewed by our partner Bondsmith within 24 hours and you’ll get an email once it’s done. Make sure the new account is in your name to avoid delays.
