SuperSaveClub Insurance car policies offer four optional add-ons, each providing additional protection beyond your standard policy cover. Each add-on has its own separate policy, with its own terms, conditions, and price. Always read the full add-on policy wording (the document setting out what is and isn’t covered) before purchasing — you can access your policy documents at any time through your SuperSaveClub Insurance portal.
Important: SuperSaveClub Insurance support gives you information about your policy options only — it does not recommend a specific product or tell you which cover is right for you. Always read the full policy documents before purchasing.
Motor Legal Protection
Motor Legal Protection covers the legal costs of recovering uninsured losses following a non-fault accident. Uninsured losses are out-of-pocket costs not paid by your car insurance, such as:
• compensation for personal injury
• loss of earnings while recovering from the accident
• other reasonable expenses arising directly from the accident
Motor Legal Protection only covers claims with a reasonable prospect of success — your insurer will assess this before proceeding. The maximum claim limit is set out in your Motor Legal Protection policy wording, which is available through your SuperSaveClub Insurance portal.
Breakdown Cover
Breakdown Cover provides roadside assistance if your car breaks down and cannot be driven. SuperSaveClub Insurance Breakdown Cover is available at different levels, with options to extend cover to include:
• recovery of your car to a garage of your choice
• assistance if your car breaks down at or near your home (home start)
• onward travel arrangements or overnight accommodation if your journey cannot continue
• cover when driving in Europe
The level of Breakdown Cover that applies to your policy depends on your policy tier and any upgrades you have selected. Your policy schedule (the summary document showing your specific cover and limits) confirms exactly which level applies to you.
Excess Protection
Excess Protection covers up to £1,000 of the policy excess you pay following a successful claim on your SuperSaveClub Insurance car policy. The excess — the amount you contribute towards the cost of a claim — is shown in your policy schedule.
Excess Protection applies after a successful claim has been settled and your excess has been paid. Full terms and eligibility conditions are set out in your Excess Protection policy wording, available through your SuperSaveClub Insurance portal.
Enhanced Courtesy Car
Enhanced Courtesy Car provides a guaranteed hire vehicle while your car is being repaired or replaced following a covered incident, up to the limits shown in your policy schedule.
Without Enhanced Courtesy Car, your SuperSaveClub Insurance policy may include a standard courtesy car through your approved repairer, subject to vehicle availability. Enhanced Courtesy Car removes the dependence on availability and provides a guaranteed replacement vehicle up to the limits in your policy schedule.
