Cashback Statuses: What Do They Mean?
Updated over 7 months ago

When you shop through MoneySuperMarket, you earn cashback on your purchases. But the process of earning cashback can take time, and it's not always clear what's happening behind the scenes. This guide will help you understand the different cashback statuses you may see in your account.

Pending

This means we've recorded your purchase and are waiting for the retailer to confirm it. This status usually appears within a few hours or a couple of days of making your purchase.

Confirmed

This means the retailer has approved your purchase and paid your cashback. You can redeem it immediately if you have at least £5 in your cashback wallet.

Declined

If the retailer denies your purchase for cashback, the status will change to "Declined". This means that you're not eligible for cashback on that purchase. The reasons for declined cashback can vary but usually involve not following the retailer's terms and conditions or cancelling the purchase.

We hope this guide helps you understand the different cashback statuses. If you have any questions about your cashback, please contact our customer support team.
